How to receive part of the Purchase Order (without closing it)

Purchase Orders are used to track and receive your inventory purchases from your vendors. While you may place an order of multiple items all at the same time, the inventory may arrive at different times.

Shoptiques POS allows you to receive inventory as it arrives in your store without closing the original order. SPOS will adjust the quantities of the product accordingly.

1. Create a purchase order by following the instruction here

2. Please go to the "Purchases Orders" page and search for the Purchase Order to which the product you received belongs.

3. Click on the purchase order. Click the "Receive Items" button.

4. Enter the quantities received for each line item. And click "Receive Inventory".

5. Now the Qty Received has been updated and Qty Ordered and Unit Price could no longer be edited. The newly added products will be added to the inventory and can now be sold.

6. Once you receive additional items from this Purchase Order, please repeat steps 2-5
